LIBRARY IS CLOSED

While our building remains closed to the public, the Carpenter Memorial Library is now offering

CURBSIDE PICKUP

Step 1:   Place Your Items on Hold by calling us at (509) 674-2313 (you can leave a voicemail) or emailing cmlibrary@cityofcleelum.com (please note “Request Curbside Service” in the subject line).  You can request items by title, author or subject matter.  You can also view available items and place holds on specific titles through our online catalog here.  Please limit your requests to no more than 10 items per checkout.

Step 2:  Schedule a Pickup Time.  Once your holds are ready, the library will contact you to schedule a pick up time (this may take up to 2-3 business days).

Step 3:  Arrive at the Library at your scheduled pick up time.  Your items will be on a marked cart outside in a bag with your name on it.  Please abide by social distancing and remain in your car if there are others picking up materials.  If necessary, or you require items brought directly to your vehicle, you may call the library to let us know you are waiting outside.

Pick Up Hours:

Monday 10-2, Wednesday 2-6, Friday 10-2.

Please note: The library building remains closed to the public.  For the safety of patrons and staff, all materials are to be returned to the exterior book drop, and will be quarantined for 4 days. Library staff will not answer the door – all communication must be over the phone or by email. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work through this new phase of library services.
